Musharaf is out of office..

I sometimes wonder what is going to happen to my Pakistan. It’s been treated like a little baby since the independence in 1947. Whoever comes and leads it just holds its hand, misuses it and then leaves it for someone else.

Since leaders come and go it’s so unfortunate that each time we got a leader in Pakistan it was someone who just came for the sake of money and eating up all the loans that country gets from the western world.

Why does this happen? I mean when someone holds charge of a nation don’t they realize that those people who are not “rich” enough like them might suffer because the one in the parliament can’t sit proper and decide how the country is going to be run. Don’t they realize that they will mess someone’s life upside down just because of some decisions they make.

I think Musharaf has done a LOT for Pakistan. At a time when some other leaders were eating the country up, Musharaf came and helped Pakistan get back on its feet. Yes, as the dictator title he got is somewhat what all others before him got as well. I wouldn’t go so much into that because If i am for Musharaf I am also against some things. Which is by allowing US to get anyone they pointed their finger at. Also filling their Guantanamo bay with people who might not have anything against the “terrorist attacks” which US is so busy working out.

Musharaf signed off from his Precidency on 18th August, 4 days after the Independence Day of Pakistan on 14th August. I just wish and pray that the others sitting in the office now focus on the public rather than spending all their time putting Musharaf on trial.

The people in Pakistan are dying because of the costs reaching the sky, but I am 100% that even in the next few months lots more will reach the heaven because of the leaders who are going to take out their personal anger on other leaders rather than being motivated enough to help the Pakistani people.

God bless Pakistan..

    I totally agree that now the honeymoon period for the coalition government has ended. The so called issue they been lingering upon for last 6 months while the situation of country got worse is off.

    These are same looters who during their past ventures looted & miss managed the country. Now its time for them to deliver or face extreme consequences through people. Mushraaf was the right guy for the need of the time, I hope like you that country/news/media do not grasp issue of his trial etc out of proportion, Pakistan has a lot of important things to tackle..

    Good day!

  2. I read a blog today where the guy had said that “I’d rather take a military dictator than deal with any of those retards in the government.” … and I sooo agree with him.

    Wonder who are these people who are busy dancing and giving sweets at his going because if you see comments made by Pakistanis themselves at BBC’s Have Your Say part, you will see that most of them are mourning his going. Probably because those are people who are literate, can judge things at their own rather being influenced by media and political leaders and use the Net for some good! :P Okay, I am probably being baised towards the illiterate people of Pakistan but that’s the sad fact.

    The link to that BBC page is this: click here

    Personnally iam sad for Musharraf coz i think he done good job….sorry but if pakistani people critics him politie with USA they are wrong….just few minuts before to login the blog i was reading with my mom Jazba internationale & discuss on it…..if Musharraf didnt help USA on terrorism war, the USA could enter in Pakistan like they do in Iraq, Afghanistan….so i think Musharraf saved Pakistan from USA invasion….He did lot of others good action for Pakistan but i think its an habit for pakistani people to criticize every leader who leave this system…

    I really dont understand why people are so happy thats he is moving coz we really dont know what will happen in pakistan….

    True butterfly, that’s the thing.. people tend to have something against everyone. And in Pakistan most of the times it’s mostly blame game for us..

    I agree 100% with Ordinary Girl’s response (no.2). Musharaf has done a lot of good for Pakistan, I didn’t know much about Pakistan but when I first went there in 2006 and then few times in 2007, things were very calm and I actually thought it was a lovely country to live in. Both Zardari & Shariff are corrupt people and now have now again got their own way, wonder what’s going to happen to Pakistan? Only Allah knows :( but feel really sorry for those silly people who are at the moment celebrating Musharaf’s departure.

  7. Hmmmm Reading all this one song automatically came in my mind “Jiska koi nahin uska to Khuda hai Yaaro” Well I dont know hmm sadly but true thats how it feels for our Pakistan right now…

    Musharraf really did a good job, yea oki he did focus lots on equality when it comes to men and womens and so on, but I guess the reason was he being tooo much influenced by Bush ji :P He wudnt be doing it if he had watched some of Dr.Zakir Naik’s videos umm yea….I guess..

    But frankly speaking I personally felt like Pakistan is in good hands as long as Parvez Musharaf had the control, coz jo bhi tha he by his actions were loyal to Pakistan, unlike our other leaders who can ONLY talk (that too from a notebad..ahhh bad memory maybe :P )..Bigtime!

    Allah bless Pakistan! And he will InshAllah…

    Musharaf WHO?????……I think he ran out of steam…Looks like politics in my homeland is for the birds only….most of leaders are palying blind man’s bluff and are running the country without with any sense of direction…….No doubt they need a refresher course in politics 101….I feel sad & sorry for my fellow country man who have been traumatized by unholy politicians from day one…I remember how proud I was in 1947 on day of independance carrying a little flag and running aound in my hometown…those memories are still fresh even though I left Pakistan for good almost half century ago…

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Very true.. we do need a major change and sadly Pakistan has been a victim of very very unholy politicians since day one.. God bless hi kare humein
