I bumped into this video on Youtube where this guy claims to be Imam Mehdi RA.( NaAuzubillah)
Here are the signs of when Imam Mehdi will appear:-
There are many signs that will precede him, a general and very important sign is that he will come at a time when there is great confutation, intense disputes and violent deaths. When people are afflicted by disturbance and experiencing great fear. Calamities will fall upon the people, so much so that a man shall not find a shelter to shelter him self from oppression. There will be battles and fitnaas before his appearance. Every time a fitnaa has come to end, another will start, spread and intensify. The people will be troubled to such an extent that they will long for death. It is then that Imam Mahdi will be sent.
The guys who follow him in the video below say that Gohar Shahi’s picture is found on the moon, the sun and on the holy stone in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Can someone please tell me about a place where I can go and scream my lungs out because I am unable to take this thing in. Every other damn day some nutcase is coming either to claim he is the Imam Mehdi or the Messiah or God knows what else.
Don’t we people have ENOUGH tension already that jobless nutcases like these keep on creating sects and divide the world even more???
How come he is the promised Messiah and…
- He needs a translator to get his message across?
- He tries to make himself more pure than Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?
- He on various occassions said RUDE stuff about the Prophet (PBUH)
- Majority of the world hasn’t even heard of this guy?
- Imam Mehdi was to BRING peace into this world.. but this guy died a few years back.. right? And bombs and wars are on their PEAK!
Please do comment what your views are keeping in mind we are talking about a PROMISED MESSIAH who claimed his face is on the moon, and the sun as well. And he claimed he saw Hazrat Issa (Jesus) RA in America and he said he is on a visit there just like him.
I mean COME ON!!! I would appreciate someone who follows him to atleast come up with one valid point, and prove me wrong.

What we should do? Hmm well bro I think we need to conversate with these people so the “truth” comes out before it messes up lives of those that easily get dragged by.
It’s amazing we have hospitals to treat the sick, but we don’t have institutions that deal with those that get sick in the mind due to the mental stuff these so called “leaders” brainwash ppl with.

His fanatics have been seeing his images for more than 15 years now – I remember meeting him at his HQ somewhere around 1994, with a friend who was brainwashed by his cult – A guy stood up and asked him about the pic-in-the-moon claim and he sort-of denied it by saying “Aati ho gi, hamain kya pata”
One of his righ-hand men tried to “jumpstart my heart”, what they called “qalb chalna” – after his unsuccessful attempt, I was dubbed “one of those souls who were never meant to be ‘naik’” – It was a fun encounter, hell, it is probably worth a post on its own.
Now the followers say he has not died but ascended to a higher plane of existence – or something like that…
The people of Pakistan deserve their share of cults and televangelists though, so don’t deny us these characters that we may make fun of, I say, we need more like Gohar Shahi – to feel good about our faith by comparison, and feel more intelligent after looking at the people they manage to fool.

Well, those guys disgusted me with their deviations as much as you – I guess it is always better to have fun at somebody else’s expense rather than getting frustrated by them.
It was certainly an ‘enlightening’ experience, with hundreds of people in that area living there/serving him etc. and batches of people going upstairs to meet him (I went in one of those batches). This guy was sitting on a throne-like takht with two servants with huge fans standing behind him – when he arrived, his face was actually shining (probably with phosphorus or something) but the effect wore off after 5-10 minutes. Hmm… 15 year old memories are coming back to me, I’ll probably write them down in a post later (for your amusement)

lol this is sooo funny. i just saw this and i didnt even know that something like this happened.anyways all i can say is that our religious beliefs are very weak. and what we can do is try to know our religion in a better way and also try to teach ppl. that does not mean that we have to become a maulvi or mufti coz trust me i have seen corrupt muftis. so we have quran and ahadees and we can learn from them.

I havent read the complete blog and neither do I have an understanding of Islam, so maybe I am out of my bounds, but I feel every belief is personal, be it religious or otherwise. When it comes down to religion, people can practice whatever they believe in, in their own private space. As long as one does not ask others to follow their beliefs, it should be fine.

When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) invited the people to accept the islam, some of them gathered and asked him to split the moon from half, then they will accept him. The Holy Prophet pbhm did so in front of them, they replied that it is magic. Again they asked that if you bond it back then we will accept you, then the holy prophet pbuh did as they desired in front of them. They people still refused and you know those poeple were declared as Munafiq and Kafir.
Hazrat Riaz Ahmad Gohar Shahi did not claim ever that he is the Imam Mehdi or he is offering a new religion. Infact he beleives on the “Khatam-e-Nabuwat”. He told us the very clear symptoms about the Imam Mehdi that the Holy Imam Mehdi would have the “Mohr-e-Mehdiyat” on his back like the HOly Prophet pbuh had the “Mohr-e-Nabuwat” on his back. And these mohr or stamps would be embedded by vanes but not artificial. Anyone who claims that he is the Imam Mehdi, must show the Mohr-e-Mehdiyat on his back.
Secondly, his preaching is to learn the “Roohaniyat or Spritualisam” and the first lesson of the Spritualisam is the Zikr-e-Qalb means our heart i.e. Qalb can talk as our toungue talks but the Qalb talk only Allah Allah and nothing else.
“Roohaniyat seekhoo khawa tumhara talook kisee bhee giroo, firkay yaar mazhab say hoo”.
I have saw by my nude eyes that on the clear sky, very small size birds appeared in groups and made some formations i.e. first they formed in arabic words, Yaa Allah, then Yaa Muhammad, then Yaa Gohar, then Riyaz Ahmad and then disappeared. Can you beleive?
Can you differentiate by yourself between the Jadoo and Karamat or Moojza?
