God plays in his own lovely ways doesn’t he. He gives us the tools and then sees how we use them. I was thinking. If God had made me mute.. could I have done something? Would there be a place I could go and complain? I host radio shows and have gathered lots of charity for events like Earth Quake that happened a few years back in Pakistan and the Tsunami that shook the world.
But there is nothing we can do to repay the Almighty back for the blessings he showers us with. By just saying thanks God I think at least I am trying to walk out of the back door.
I recently started “selling” my voice on a Voiceover Network for just that intention of doing my bit. And due to my experience I am being paid 300 US Dollars a minute, which is around 18 000 USD an hour. Yes sounds a lot doesn’t it, keep reading to see how I multiply it to be even more!
“It takes just 25 US cents to fill one of the “Red Cups” that the World Food Programme uses to give hungry children a regular school meal of porridge, rice or beans. US $15 would feed 10 children for a week.”
So I was thinking. If I use my voice for one minute I can manage to feed 200 children for a week. 60 Seconds ~ 20 kids!!! WOW now that’s an investment! That’s 200 kids who will get the food in their stomach. Each kid let’s say has two parents, some might have one or none. They will pray for those that made it possible that their kid is not sleeping with an empty stomach. Have you ever gone to sleep with an empty stomach? You might have.. but how does it feel to wake up with an empty stomach the next day and AGAIN sleep with an empty stomach hmm?
Just imagine… The kid goes to school, at breakfast and lunch they are given a red cup with porridge or whatever the food is. Their eyes light up because due to poverty that’s a treasure for them. The innocent smiles on their face when they are full and content will automatically give them a sigh of relief that in reality would be a prayer that will go straight to God up above. And God always smiles when he sees that his people are being looked after by those that can manage.
And when 200 kids plus hundreds of parents and families of those kids will pray that someone somewhere did this for their kids. Imagine the millions of prayers that come right back into your kitty….
I am so sure that every obstacle or pain that God puts in my way he will give me the courage to fight it through. What more can I want? I am just like most of you, working for a living or I might say “Living for Working”, I too have lots of bills to pay, but I have always had money coming in everytime I gave something away.. this is a no-brainer and the best lottery ever!

Once again good topic Wakas bahi..there is lot of to do in this world…
Price are always increasing & poor people cant follow the crisis…there are lot of example but as pakistani girl i follow pakistan situation…the flour & rice are so increasing that poor people couldnt efford it, so its our duty to help them…
I think all people who are connecting internet have the possibility to help others…then i started to think abt an internaut life its a long chain on my mind…every internaut have a pc at home or may be take connection on net coffe but at end we all pay this connection…so we have money to efford our hobby so why we dont take a part from our hobby money to share to people in needs???!!!
All is possible, its just on our mind…
My parents always says to my brothers & me “give 1€uro & U will receive 7€uro” & i know it works
On my birthday i will receive money from my older brother at first i tought i will spend it for some shopping but now i will give to a helping program…
May Allah bless U Wakas bahi, Ur family & Love Ones…U always caring about others Inshallah One day will come Allah will give U the benefit of all this.(Ameen)

Bless your generous heart Wakas for coming up with a wonderful topic as this. You have always had it in you to help…remember the drive done to help those with physical disabilities.
I believe that whatever you get is because of all that you give. Nothing stays on forever and we never take all the wealth we amass with us when we die.
So in little ways if you can make a differance in the lives of those less fortunate than us, I believe their blessings and duas would do us a great deal.
I have been involved in doing little charity for a few years now and i today promise that every few months I add a few more good deeds to those that I already do,like maybe educate few more kids every year hmmm
Like duffer sez hope more get inspired by your blog hmmm Bless ya.

Bless you for spreading this news. Especially we muslims should always remember that zakat is not our only obligation. Idea of Sadaqah should rule daily in our hearts and actions.
