Do you eat healthy?

General

How many of you feel really healthy or in other words attempt to EAT healthy? Billions of people every single day put in their bodies food that might be killing them in other words but still they keep on doing so. How serious are you when it comes to what you eat?

I seen people who religiously eat vegetables, others go on eating meat every single day. Our Asian diet has lots of oil in it, well depending on your lifestyle ofcourse. But I personally have been quite happy with the food at home that mum makes, but when i am out I think I balance it “not so well” with the junk I eat. Being in Norway we don’t have that many halal places here so I stick to fish wherever I am or whenever I can.

Fish fried i OIL hmm yummy… NOT!!! and  on top of that lots of french fries, I am sure my internal organs must be loving it .

What about you guys n gals.. do you eat healthy food or just throw in anything you find?

and the only reason not to eat out is unhygienic or tasteless food or both

I try to balance the meal throughout the week and make sure I include sufficient amounts of carbohydrates, protein, and fiber. However, we do treat ourselves to pizza or burger once a week :)

Though I dont consider myself a health nut…but about eleven years ago since I went under knife for open heart surgery then I compromised with myself to become full time vegitarian….and always eat scientifically with full compliment of nutrition supplements plus 6 hours of daily excercise routine…Now I am enjoying basic good health ..but it leaves my doctors short-changed..they keep calling me to vist rather vice vera..It is a matter of common sense..when it comes to adopting healthy life-style…eat to live rather than live to eat…as some one said “”Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are….

I try to eat as many fresh fruits as possible — they are delicious and I don’t have to cook them. I also avoid red meat & carbonated beverages. One of the problems I had was overeating at buffets. It took me some time to realize that just because food is laid out in front of me doesn’t mean I have to eat it all!
