in this world of tech… i believe it has become really hard to believe people online. one can not trust so easly coz the trust is broken. however bec of these fake ids.. i dont turst them easily. also i believe it creats problem in a way that we also are lossing a way of finding some good people. over all i think because these fake ids it has become hard to believe people online. i have personaly been a victim of this and now i take long time to trust people online. but we all can make a difference if we from our side dont have the fake ids. one by one there will be imporvement. Fake ids can ruin people’s lives i knoe that. coz one of my frd fell in love with someone and thn in the end she had her heart broken. he was married with 2 kids and when would talk to her he would be like he was 24 yrs old and was single all tht changes a lot… people just be aware of who you talking to and who you are sharing your feelings with. because this world use to be safe place but now as the days are passin by its becoming unsafe….

Because my original e-mail ID was in my name instead of saying something stupid like ‘cinderalla123′ or summat, i got MAJOR problems with people adding me in from fake addresses. Specially when one’s using messengers like PIDGIN which don’t even ask you if you want to chat with that person or no.

The best, if only, way i have found is to ignore them. They get really insulting or whatever just to make one reply but its best not to. Because they’ll give up in the end.

Well I do agree with u bro..It’s happening at alarming rate at the web-world ..the only thing i suggest is to be careful to add a new person in ur messenger unles u watch that person at a common place where u interact with them n take friends advice to check the genuinity of the person..Phir bhi aaj kal net world main sirf kaghazi rishte reh gai hai..kabhi bhi toot sakte hai..so it’s better to be careful kiss ko dost banaate hai…:)

Women use fake email addresses sometimes because they dont wish to be stalked - but once comfortable, they usually revert to their real names and Ids - why men fake addresses is something I cant understand!

I’m sorry Asma sis, think if we are giving the woman the right to use fake ids to communicate with other until they feel comfortable, y cant man have the same prvilage…. i think its wrong to misuse the fake name ids… i think i have not made a id with ma name in it because i dont wish to share it with everyone… but if i misuse to hurt someone it becomes wrong. however i think sometimes man use the fake ids for the same benifits women use it for… so blaming men would be worng… if one gender gets aways y should other gender not?

I think people who make fake ids are the people who have something to hide.Honest people won’t do that.But again going by your real name can also create problems.I always use my real name on internet and sometimes feel insecure.There are people who can stalk you on the internet too.My advice to people creating fake ids for wrong reasons ..’Go get a life’.

V and D - I think you both are right - Men can also use fake ID to stay private. I have noticed that some men are more private about their personal life than women even and I deeply respect that.

I also agree with what you said Deepti. No one should assume fake ID to cause trouble. :)
