I Love You..I think!

The world’s most beautiful feeling is often the world’s most confusing feeling / emotion. Telling someone you love them takes a lot of guts first of all and then comes to the commitment of holding onto them forever and ever.

But what about nowadays? Has this thing changed? I often hear people say “Good old days, people used to value love now they value money” .. but who lived in those good old days? People.. right? People like you and I. So what makes those days different than the days we are living now?

Maybe the saying of “There was more value for love in the old days” is said by someone who didn’t manage to find someone who was “perfect” according to them? But what is perfect? Should the one you love be perfect for everyone, perfect for you or perfect in being themselves?

In my view someone who is perfect in being themselves is the one that can manage to make a place in your heart. Because they are neither going to try to be someone they aren’t nor will they be the unsatisfying type who always have a reason to doubt their shortcomings.

But what about the I LOVE YOU bit? Does it flow out of your mouth any different than it did for people before us? Did humans change as to how they are to portray their feelings to their loved ones or are they insecure in as to how to say it? Are they scared as to if they say it they won’t be able to handle the “pressure” or do they keep on saying it because they think the other person can’t do anything when we break their heart anyway so let’s continue?

So going back and forth .. what do you think? Do you feel the words “I Love You” are being given the respect they deserve?
