Helpless in the hands of God


Sometimes we feel so helpless and yet again we have this faith in God as well. So if our faith is so strong in God then why do we go helpless? Isn't that the time when we really should be showing how much we believe in him and his powers? Isn't that the time when we should just let all things rest on his shoulders because we know he will take us out of this situation or that situation? Life is definitely not a bed of roses, but it obviously doesn't mean that it's thorns all the way. We can either be sad that roses have thorns or be smiling that the thorns have roses around them. It's just the way we look at things. Being helpless does serve a purpose on its own.. it makes us weak in faith and makes us in a sense realize that we human beings and anything can happen anytime without us having any affect over it. Lots of prayers going out to a very dear friend who needs lots of them to decide something that is in its own a life saving decision.. What in your view is being helpless..?
