Every single day we see people connecting Suicide bombing with Islam and funnily enough they get away with the whole statement everytime they say it.

What is actually the ruling in Islam against suicide bombing? Is it really allowed? Is someone allowed to kill someone just for the sake of killing them and just enter heaven for that matter?

It’s not that simple and amazingly most people who use this against Muslims, know that very well. In the Quran it says “One who kills one human being has killed the whole of humanity, and one who saves a person has saved the whole of humanity”

If someone doesn’t follow this verse,  then one can’ t blame the whole religion for it.

Every day someone is blowing themselves up, and instead of looking at the “reason” behind their silly action a whole religion is put on trial. I doubt that Hitler was called a “Christian Terrorist” or in the recent times George W.Bush is ever called a “Christian Terrorist” .. both started wars, one did it to get rid of Jews and the other started one to get rid of Muslims. And whoever says USA is just doing it to defend it’s people, a bit more convincing story is all I need to hear thanks.

Back to the suicide bombing in Pakistan that killed 24 people in a funeral. Imagine, how sick the person might be who just went in and killed those that are mourning an already dead person. Such people have no connection to Islam, or humanity for that matter.

I was at a seminar today about a guy called Yusuf Estes, who was a Christian priest a few years back and who converted to Islam after finding more about it. He spoke about how he converted when he was trying to put his views across to a Muslim guy he was dealing with for business.

He really had the right grips to carry on a talk, he added lots of comical comments between his talk which made sure that no one was sound sleep. Tomorrow he will be talking about “Women and Islam”. The amazing thing was that two ladies became Muslim today after the 6 hour long lecture he gave.

Every single day we see something happening somewhere around the world. Obviously if it didn’t happen then we wouldn’t be able to associate things with it that we are going through and feel thankful to God for what we have.

In Pakistan at this moment millions of people are on the roads due to some sickos who in the name of my religion, Islam, have hijacked it big time and made it into something of their own thing. Islam teaches tolerance, and the right it gives to women to study and flexibility our Prophet PBUH showed in his times is NO where to be seen by the dumbos who represent Islam now.

Millions of people are away from their homes and living in open fields, little kids who have no idea what their fault is and sadly God knows how many different agencies are involved in this whole thing which is trying to deface Pakistan to bring it on its knees.

I just hope the people who lost their homes get back to their places soon so they can get back to their lives rather than being victims of this hell which they had nothing to do with in the first place.

I have been reading so many things about the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) that are totally made up that it’s time that I add in a link to the site that says it all with sources and other information required. Expecting respect while disrespecting someone is a sad thing that some people keep as the goal of their life.

I hear and read this a lot these days. Even in jokes and movies the thing being used again and again is “When a guy blows himself up he gets so and so many virgins in heaven” and they always add the wording “According to Islam”.

Well I really feel hmm let’s see the word would be sad. Sad not because I am a Muslim, but sad because without any knowledge of the fact that suicide is the worst thing one can do in Islam no matter what the situation, this thing is being so much used all over that it has become a habit for people to connect everything negative to one certain religion.

So let me again say.. one who commits suicide will be repeating his act again n again in hell and no there won’t be any virgins waiting for him because he has already chosen his destiny by this disgraceful act.

A kind request to all my dear non Muslim friends would just be that if we all follow our own religion properly we won’t have time to pin point issues in others.

I usually don’t get mad that much. But when I do it’s usually due to double standards from either our own community or any other. In this case it’s about a few “radical” minds of some ethnic Norwegians who are way too scared of Islam.

A girl got a job in 7-Eleven and the moment she put on her hijaab or just lets say something to cover her head cuz that’s what she wanted to. As I doubt that would have disabled her in attending to give good service to customers and so on. But oh no.. the 7-Eleven boss goes.. “Sorry you can’t have that on you” . The girl ran out crying and now filed a suit against 7-Eleven.

Lots of bloggers are saying their bit, so as an analyst of such wierd stuff I would like to say just one thing. The past few months of “defacing Islam” has gone way over the top. And i mean WAY OVER THE TOP!

I am kind of sick of reading again and again about people saying “oooh we are so scared of Islam it’s gonna brainwash people” .. Hello.. let everyone live their life, if someone wants to stay whatever religion they are let them be, if someone doesn’t let them be.

What is wrong with some people nowadays..? Has everyone gone on the mission to show the level of their stupidity that they can not even manage to see some girls in scarfs anymore wondering if they hiding a knife under their jacket or something.

If those bloggers really see the way the proper Islam is they would probably think a trillion times before saying anything. As one who practices, prays 5 times and doesn’t have time to do anything bad to anyone, they can’t and shouldn’t lie. They can’t create situations which make it worse for other human beings to manage to live their lives.

I mean this is so pathetic.. i have never been told by our Imam in the local mosque that “Wakas, You get a gun and kill everyone who is not a Muslim”  neither have i ever been told “Wakas, everyone who is a non-Muslim is your enemy”…

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr (sorry but too much hijaab talk is making me kind of lose it) breathing in and out in and out..

Note : This post is NOT suggesting that we celebrate if we have lost some dear and near ones, it’s created because some celebs in the movie industry who are no where near Islam claim to be representing it with their actions.

I just read something which made me blow the steam out of my ears. And before I say anything, those that know me know very well that I have as many hindu best friends as muslims and christians.. so don’t even get into a discussion pointing fingers at my words before you read the whole thing.

I am gonna write this post being a “Muslim” first and then anything else. The incident that occurred in India was one of the most heart breaking things that happened there since ages and my duas n prayers go out to the lovely souls who lost their lives, plus I also wish that those that carried the attacks are wiped from the face of this earth. I had a friend who’s dad was missing during the attacks and it was very painful seeing the friend worried because that’s how any human would feel like who has a family. But did you guys know that lots of the victims in the Mumbai attacks were Muslims as well?

Now onto my point. I read that some Hindu extremists want Muslims stars and celebs out of India, and not only that, but some “Muslim” superstars have not celebrated Eid this time. I mean ok there are more ways you can express your pain than letting it go over the religion. Where in the world does this sense come in the so called Muslim Celebrities in India that the religion that they claim they belong to is being ridiculed in such a way of protests? And that too by saying “No India I will not celebrate my religious day because I feel bad for the attacks” It’s not about Religion for God’s sake.. The ones who carried the attacks no matter what country they are from are NOT MUSLIMS.. and COUNTRYLESS. And by saying this and that about not celebrating Eid for this or that, is saying in other words “Yes Islam allows killings, so I will not celebrate Eid because I don’t know about my religion” . I for one will NOT allow any celebrity taking the stand on my behalf.. if they want to not celebrate something for Gods sake I wish they don’t say “I am not celebrating one of the most cherished days of Eid that we are told to by Allah because I want to shine my publicity” There are more ways to show your sympathy.. Go on a hunger strike, until my Pakistani govt hands over those who were behind it, if they were. And also go on a hunger strike whenever there is a bomb that goes off in Pakistan. Because if you are for humanity my friend, then don’t see the border between Pak and India. That won’t work…

Coming to the real core of the problem here. The attacks have created amazing amounts of news all over the world, but it’s very very very sad that I hardly see any news of bombings each and every day in Pakistan. Just as I am writing this yesterday a bomb killed 24 people in a city in Pakistan. EVERY single day a bomb goes off, not every other day. But everyday.

Yes back to the celebs not celebrating eid, are we talking about same celebs who probably don’t even know the “Kalima” or even if they do then by not celebrating EID doesn’t prove their support to the victims, all it does is their ended support to the religion of peace that I follow, Islam.

And no where in Islam it says we are to kill people, Muslims just like non-muslims have families and have a life to live. The voice of the media is the real terrorist, that creates people like the ones who blow up places i n Pakistan everyday, and places all over India.

If I was incharge over the talks or anything, I would first of all get the facts straight and get both country heads to FOCUS that its a common enemy.. terrorists we are fighting. And demand that any reported who puts the word Islamist Jihadi in the name of “terrorist” is taken their license away. Because what right does one journalist have to take benefit of a situation which can be resolved. But just because they wanna sell their stinky newspaper they have to spice it up.

We would have to take both Pakistanis and Indians hand in hand signing a mutual agreement to support understanding and realize we are against a group of losers who can NOT be Muslims but countryless, mindless nutcases, because a real Muslim has no time for this stuff. And no suicide bomb takes one to Heaven.. end of story!

I just can’t see my religion made fun of by the media, and now the celebs are joining in by saying “No eid celebration” .. would any Hindu celebs not celebrate “Ganpati pooja” or any other major celebration this time, if the bombs in Pakistan are a response by hindu extremists? No na? Well that’s what I mean.. why the hell let things go over a religion, especially “no celebration” by celebs who know nothing about their own religion and hardly even practice…

The only way this tension between Pakistan and India can stop is when both start seeing each other as Humans first. Those of us who have thousands of friends from across the border realize the value of communication. I think both countries should jail every single extremist who talks bad about the other country.

End of story!!

I had a show on Wakas Mir LIVE a few days ago, where I picked up the topic of “Girl and Guy friendships in our Asian Culture” and boy oh boy did we have comment after comment.

Some were for it, some against. Those against it had a point that in our culture if one is to be friends with the opposite sex, one HAS to define the relationship from the beginning so the other person doesn’t get “oversmart” in assuming the “affair”. Those that were FOR the idea that it is perfectly normal, pointed out that we have to go with the time and not be so stone aged.. well that made a few people get mad about it, that our religion comes first and we should stay within the boundries of that instead of making our own “rules”

All in all, both parties had valid points, although I myself feel that if one is to be friends with opposite sex then defining the relationship via your talks and actions is better than sitting a few months later getting a love you note from someone who you have no feelings for at all.

This post is an observation that I made after living in Norway since childhood seeing my fellow Muslim friends who find it amusing making fun of those that try to eat halal food. Funnily enough I know personally some people that start from one haram stuff to eating candy that clearly says pork on it.

Here are the top 5 excuses of those that do not eat halal when they can:-

• So what do you want us to do .. die with hunger?
  No one can expire if one eats fish or other things that are halal. Muslims do eat other meats too and obviously you can eat beef, lamb and other animals that are allowed..
• Why so much extreme man..? we do other haram stuff too
  Do you? Well isn’t it time you try to cut short of those haram things and instead of boasting about try to work on it.. I am writing few things that I want to cut out from my life
• I can’t find halal stuff where i live
  Where is a will there is a way.
• I can just read bismillah and eat it
  Now this one is a classic. Absolutely the best excuse ever
• I know about my religion and I know what I can and can’t do
  Now how cute and innocent is that, create your own hadiths and views and make fun of your fellow friend.

Islam says that the affect of eating haram is that our limbs and our body would not be able to aid us in performing the waajibaat, sunnah of the prophet nawaafil and aamaal. The Shaitan very easily would gain access to us through haram food.

Lets look at the text of the Hadith,
“Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu ‘anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:“Verily Allah the Exalted is pure. He does not accept but that which
is pure. Allah commands the believers with what He commanded the Messengers. Allah the Almighty has said:

“O you Messengers! Eat of the good things and act righteously” And Allah the Almighty also said: “O you who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided you
with” Then he (the Prophet) mentioned (the case of) the man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty and who stretches out his hands to the sky (saying): “O Lord! O Lord!”
(while) his food was haram, his drink was haram, his clothing was haram, and he is nourished with haram things, so how can he be answered?”

Here are some of the lessons derived from this Hadith:

1. A donation given from Haram has no reward.
2. Allah ordered the Prophets to eat only halal.
3. Allah ordered Muslims to eat only halal.
4. Supplication is not responded if one eats haram.
5. Hardships in the path of Allah are not rewarded if the food or the income of a
person is Haram.

Remember wanting to eat halal is not being a fanatic. I do go on business trips and I feel great when they ask me “Wakas, do you want to have fish?” They value and respect me and my religion. I know some people who have people working with them who funnily comment on a muslim co-worker saying things like “Oh man come on, you can’t eat this what kind of religion is that” Fair enough coming from a non-muslim.

But shame on those Muslims who are joining them in targetting their fellow muslim friends..
