If you tell me that you have never failed at something, I would probably turn around and call you the biggest liar on the face of the earth. But then again, maybe you haven’t failed at something at all. But then again that’s even worse, because that means you haven’t done anything different to get what you have today.

• A person who hasn’t failed has definitely never tried anything new
• A person who has tried something might have failed but is sitting with great experience
• A person with great experience in something will definitely not fail again in the same situation

Think about it.. are you one of those who just doesn’t like taking risks? I realize that taking risks just out of the blue is silly, but maybe you should just go against the stream and really do something amazing. You might not like to share your failure, but who knows.. you might come out successful and something that might change the world for the better..

If you are not prepared to be wrong, you probably won’t come up with anything amazing.

Life is a challenge in itself. We are often faced with situations where we feel being put on the spot from all over, in some situations we feel that the whole world is after us because of some unknown reason. Most of the cases, it’s just the tricks our mind is playing upon us.

Why are people after me?
Well when you feel like this, ask yourself what the reason behind it is, why are people targeting you for something that you haven’t done or maybe you are just so good at something that everyone is jealous? If it’s the later case then pat yourself on the back because that’s how winners are born, and everyone who has ever had success, went the opposite stream.

Should you be picking on them too?
Do you really want to lose your focus from the things you are doing? Don’t revenge anything, because from experience I have learnt that what goes around really does come around. Just focus on your plan, and let others focus on theirs.

Can you do something about it?
If it’s something that’s in your control, then go for it, make the change and see if they react differently. But to be honest, if you are sure that what you are doing is possible and is something that you are good at, keep it going. I ran one of the largest radio stations – CrazeFM – and made it win the award against similar genre radios like BBC and SoundAsia, I know what I am talking about. When people were like “Close it down Wakas, you can’t do it, it’s too much work”, but when it hit off the same people were right on the same spot as they were when they starting talking like that.

So the point is, stick to your positive plan and make things happen.

People usually fail because they are on a path which leads to totally unrealistic goals. You can just not reach the sky if you are going to use a few air baloons tied to your hands like the cartoon, UP. It doesn’t work that way.

To succeed one has to go through a tough process of learning and making mistakes. The way I have seen people climb the ladder is sometimes by taking shortcuts. Well the only way to climb a mountain is by taking one step at a time, while I do agree one can take a helicopter as well but there are certain places that won’t reach either.

Taking baby steps is the best thing to do when you want to learn how to walk and then run. And so what if you fall in the way, didn’t you fall when you were a baby? That made you aware that “Ok if i walk this way I will fall, if I walk like this with a balance I won’t fall”.

So reasons why people fail can be defined in such a way:-

• They have no passion at all in what they are doing
• They are totally ignorant of the fact that if they don’t succeed ones they can always try again
• And they have absolutely no faith in their skills and themselves

Remember, if you don’t trust your skills, no one else will either

I would like to share with you what kind of things I do in order to get traffic to my sites. As I am also a part of a mentoring program by Alex Jeffreys this is also one of the things we have to do

1. Tweeting
   Increase my tweeting followers with a few new things I add to the blog. That would mean more content and more ways to follow me – Click to follow me
2. Article submittion
   I have been adding lots of articles on http://www.articlealley.com since the past few years but will be lot more active there. Any blog post that can be useful, I will just add it there as well.
3. Using ad-networks
   I use adbrite a LOT and I will start using that for the blog too. They offer targetted traffic and I am very happy with them.
4. Move to hostgator
   I am using a few different hosts right now costing me a lot. But since hostgator provides such simple process of hosting unlimited sites for a very very cheap rate. I am moving all my sites there.
   Do try it out.
5. Talk about the blog in the show
   I run a liveshow on CrazeFM.com, I will talk about it in my show and see if people would like to learn how to earn.

If I follow the above things properly, there is no chance that things can go wrong. As I have lots of knowledge I have gathered from my experiences and I am sure others can benefit from it

Why should one do that? I hear this a lot although I don’t agree with it at all. Why would one quit when they are ahead? And who knows where to measure the line and say “ok now I am ahead I am quitting”…

Success is all in the mind, if you see yourself as successful then you are, if you don’t then their is no money in the world that can make you think otherwise. There are people in this world who feel that if they just quit while they are leading in any field that no one will ever say that they lost. But then again what’s the point of being in any field if one doesn’t have the guts to face the challenge.

I personally enjoy being in a field where their is so much competition that I can sense the amount of hacking attempts via our logs into my radio station, CrazeFM.com .. if I say ok we won Best Radio of 2007 so let’s qiut.. would that be wise? Why would I quit while we are ahead.. instead I think one should keep on doing even better and more than before.

If you feel you are good at something, be the BEST at it. If you can’t be BEST at it atleast try to be good enough that people see you as the one they can look upto in that field.

I have always been the advocate of positive outlook towards life. No matter sometimes I have come across situations that might have broken me into pieces if I hadn’t had the faith in me. Maybe it’s the thoughts that have been injected in me via mum since childhood. I feel that success and failure go hand in hand. Where there is success there is a chance that one will also fail. And when one doesn’t fail in something they won’t know the wonderful taste of success.

But does that mean that to be successful in your first go is wrong? Ofcourse not, but what I mean is that when you do fail while attempting to succeed, you will surely have the heart to handle any negative aspects along the way. Your “successful” persona won’t be shattered if you fall along the way, you will just hold onto the hope and carry on because you would KNOW that “I failed and I tried again and succeeded”

I in the past few years have worked from door to door salesman to working in a warehouse moving boxes around in a Norwegian company while looking for the job I was built for, Web Designer / Project Manager. I worked and worked despite some people in the family saying “Aww he is so talented why is he doing this or that” .. maybe if I had listened to them I wouldn’t be enjoying my office now, where I sit and manage a whole team of people. Maybe if I had heard of them, I would have sat home and gone nuts!

So all in all, success is not a final goal… it is the little steps you take along the way. If you are not failing while reaching there, you are definitly not giving your best. Because I feel if you don’t fail, you will succeed but you will definitely not learn how to tackle failure if you get hit by it at the wrong time.
